Serving Our Community and Children

One of the main goals of our MOMS Club chapter is to give back to the community. Every fiscal term our chapter participates in a minimum of 3 service projects (or fundraisers).

Around Halloween we hold a 50/50 drawing to support a charity chosen by one of the members. The charities are always children related. In October 2018, our chapter donated to the Down Syndrome Association.

During the holiday season our chapter adopts a family through the City of Chino Hills' Adopt-a-family holiday program. In December 2018, our chapter supported a single mom and her 3 children. We were able to provide them with toys, household essentials, clothing, and gift cards to grocery and clothing stores.

At the end of our term in June, we hold our final and main service project of the year. Our end of year banquet and charity raffle!

End of Year Banquet and Charity Raffle

In June, we hold our charity raffle during our chapter's end of year banquet. This raffle is our main service project of the year that we spend months preparing for.

Our chapter contacts multiple businesses to receive donations, and as a 501c(3), all donations are tax deductible. These donations are then raffled off to our members and the community during our end of year banquet.

Members spend months searching for a charity that represents our values as mothers, and that needs our support. Proceeds from this event are then donated to the charity that is chosen by our members.

Being a small group of moms, we average a donation of $1,100 to our end of year charity.
